This section examines the events surrounding the arrest and trial of Jesus, as recounted in the Gospel of John. It provides a glimpse into the turbulent events that led to Jesus' crucifixion.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested by the authorities. The disciples try to defend him, but Jesus calmly submits to the arrest, knowing that it is part of God's plan. He is then taken before the Jewish leaders and the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, where he faces a trial and is ultimately condemned to death.
